Buprenorphine X-Waiver Training Webinar

Training is provided complimentary to Wisconsin providers who are eligible to prescribe buprenorphine. This session is presented as a live four-hour activity, which, when paired with ASAM's four-hour on-demand course, will provide necessary education for participates to apply for and obtain their Buprenorphine Waver through the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
ASAM is an approved provider by CSAT/SAMHSA of DATA 2000 training. This blended format combines 4 hours of self-paced online learning with 4 hours of live learning for a total of 8 hours. The online portion is completed before the live portion and will introduce learners to treating opioid use disorder with medications. Prior to the live course, learners will be issued access to the online portion of the blended course through the ASAM e-Learning Center. The live portion of the course focuses on special populations and cases.

Please join us for a Buprenorphine Boot Camp: Getting Your Clinic Off the Ground virtual workshop this May! This training will serve as a deeper dive into the complexities of Medication- Assisted Treatment of opioid use disorders in the primary care setting. Intended for providers who currently hold a MAT Waiver, the workshop will detail the logistical, legal and prescribing challenges common to MAT, and practical tips to overcome these barriers.
