    Buprenorphoine X-Waiver Training Course

    Training is provided complimentary to Wisconsin providers who are eligible to prescribe buprenorphine.  This session is presented as a live four-hour activity, which, when paired with ASAM's four-hour on-demand course, will provide necessary education for participates to apply for and obtain their  Buprenorphine Waver through the American Society of Addiction Medicine. 



    ASAM is an approved provider by CSAT/SAMHSA of DATA 2000 training. This blended format combines 4 hours of self-paced online learning with 4 hours of live learning for a total of 8 hours. The online portion is expected to be completed first as it covers the essential knowledge content. The live portion will focus on the clinical application of the content covered online using case-based discussions.. Upon registration, learners will be issued access to the online portion of the blended course through the ASAM e-Learning Center.

    ACCREDITATION: The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.

    DESIGNATION:  The American Society of Addiction Medicine designates this enduring material for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.  The American Society of Addiction Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
